I've had Dune on my mind and wanted to make something fitting of the universe, but it was very hard to find suitable stock... The biggest problem with this image is the clouds, considering Arrakis has no atmospheric moisture. The only other thing that bugs me is that to be so far into the desert, they should be wearing stillsuits. Ah, well...
Mostly I just needed a break from homework to remind myself that art can be entertaining. This doesn't come near my usually work in terms of quality, but I like it nonetheless. I hope you do too
